Phoenix Atelier Student Artwork

Hi Everyone.
Phoenix Atelier has been around now for a year and a half.
During that time we have been on a mission to create the very best online programs around.
It has been a wonderful ride and I am so proud of what we have managed to accomplish against all odds.
Our Alumni have created a private group on Facebook and have been keeping in touch with each other and
sharing images of their work. Work that should be shared with everyone.
This thread is dedicated to all the great artists that have walked the virtual hall of PA.
May your futures be bright and all your dreams come true.
Marcia and Cesar Dacol Jr.

Going to start this thread with the awesome giant created by Ivo Diependaal during Andrew Baker’s program, Breathing Life and Presence into Digital Creatures.

Great first post … wonderful image!

Cheers, David

That really is a fantastic job! Love the sense of scale, the color texture and weight of it. PA sounds very cool too.

and if you catch this chalkman, I absolutely love your work!

Hey all,

Had the pleasure of taking Aris Kolokontes creature sculpting class last year, as well as Andrew Bakers creature class at Phoenix Atelier. Both have been HUGE amounts of fun and learning.

Now that it is over with, I’d like to share some of the work I made for Andrew’s class most recently…

Feel free to follow me at my tumblr orinstagram!!

Thanks guys!!

Amazing thread so far. Makes me want to sculpt an orc !

Adrian, your work was incredibly inspirational! Was a pleasure taking the class alongside you man. I took Andrew Baker’s workshop at Phoenix Atelier as well and it was hands down the most incredible experience I’ve had with an online art course. Andrew Baker shared so many wonderful techniques (industry standard for film), the video content was robust and packed with great info and his weekly crit sessions were super fun and informative. This is my work from the first half of the class.

Eric! Holy crap man, same goes for you, was fantastic to see your progress each week on these guys. They turned out epic. Some serious inspiration and motivation each week!

Forgot to add, a BIG HUGE thank you to Cesar, Andrew and Marcia for putting together such an awesome course, and I’m glad to have been a part of it.

Really awesome stuff, great works.
