    Default Harrison Ford (WIP)

Started working on this today. Think I might have overdone the chin a bit. Maybe made him overall a bit too narrow? Not sure exactly what's bothering me about it. Anyway eventually want to make it a full Blade Runner sculpt.

Getting closer. Need to find the end point for the mandible, adjust the brow/forehead and either inflate or move the back of the head.

    Quick update:

Placeholder hair added. Can't seem to make fibermesh work for me so I settled on clay.

Just blocked in rough shape of the iconic coat collar.

    Face still needs major work

I think I've hit the wall for my current skill level. Other than the wonky forehead everything with the face seems pretty solid. For eyes, clothing and hair I'm pretty lost. I'd like to get this photo real but it's way beyond me at the moment.

I think you must retopologize the head and project the details.remember when you're retopologizing make a very very thin area between the lips then you can make a mouth bag inside of other 3d packages like maya or max.don't use symmetry all the time.adding irregularities makes your model more realistic.if you can watch these tutorials.they're great.

Digital Tutors - Sculpting Human Skin in ZBrush
Digital Tutors - Sculpting Male and Female Faces in ZBrush
Digital Tutors - Understanding Facial Anatomy in ZBrush

third one is better than the others.hope these can help you.good luck & keep up the good works my friend.

Mind explaining the retopologize steps? That's an area I haven't dived into. Right now the model isn't in dynamesh so should I re-enable that, switch project details on & freeze subdivision, zremesh and unfreeze?

Edit: Ah I think I figured it out. Just need to freeze subdiv and remesh. Not sure why I thought dynamesh was needed.

you must append a Zsphere and then below there inside of topology menu you can select " Edit topology".that allows you to put vertices where ever you want on the surface and make your own topology instead of using Zremesher.after that in the "Adaptive Skin" subpallet select "Make Adaptive Skin" and it's ready.append new geometry into your subtools menu and use "Project All" to project all of the details into your new geometry.if you wanna use Zremesher you have to use"Zremesher Guide" around the eyes and mouth and ears to tell it how arrange the new topology.hope it can help you.Good Luck.
