Video Aqua - 3D Sculpture Making Of

Hi!!! This is Aqua, some kind of liquid goddess, a watery creature from where oceans and seas emerge. A personal challenge, cause I think drawing water is really difficult, so.. why not trying to sculpting it?!! A complete project done in ZBrush!

Which render do you like most?

This is amazing, wow, the water sculpting is very impressive. And since you asked, I think I like the first render better.

Beautiful work, very nice man! I can't help but wonder if it might look even better if you had used varying levels of material transparency, reflection and refraction for all the water in it though, as well as tightened up all your textures by making proper UV maps to eliminate the pixelation.
    Either way, cool stuff.

Thank you!! At the beginning I thought about using different levels of transparency and reflection, but once it was polypainted, I loved that meringue likeness. It seems more hand painted than realistic, I think. And you are right Daniel, I must have baked the textures to eliminate the pixelation. I will take care of it in the next sculptures!! Thanks for watching and comments, it's a great support!

Very original, and great use of Zbrush. I like the render the way it is, theres no need to get too complicated with renders with it doesnt add to the piece IMO.
