    Default Digitalfrankie Sketchbook

    Hi Guys,

This is my first post to the community...the first of many

This model is actually the 2nd robot design post finishing a course i completed at Zbrushworkshops (Quick shout out to the guys and my bad ass teacher Furio Tedeschi)

As the course was over quite a few weeks 7/8 i wanted to hit the ground running soon as i finished and challenge myself to do another design from scratch in 7 days, and this is were i made it!

Im Very happy with the results considering the amount of time the first bot took and i still have my zbrush training wheels on.

I will post the completed rendered version once I'm done and again very happy to be here.

    Cheers Frankie

Default Heres one of my first few aliens

I kept the sculpt pretty simple of this alien design and it turned out pretty good.

I exported to Photoshop to finish this guy off with colour

Here is the Render from the Project "Viper", plenty of improvements i have noted that i need to work on .....mostly to do with having a variety of material types and and improving my keyshot materials.

Overall i was not happy with the final result but as they say it was a great learning experience.

Ill be posting My latest sculpt shortly so stay tuned!

    Default Project Brain Bucket

Here is a study/Design of a special-Ops helmet or "Brain Bucket, the main purpose of this study was predominately so i could try some new features in Zbrush that i had yet to delve into such as FiberMesh and Micromesh to name a few.

    Default Brain Bucket Part 2

Quick turnaround views of the "Brain Bucket", P.S if your wondering i used Fibermesh for the velcro and micro mesh for the helmet netting.

    Default Brain Bucket Render

Probably the most quickest part for me was the render, compared to the last project "Viper" this one was quick.......lots of progress made, although there are plenty of things i have noted to work on as i get used to Keyshot and colour tweaks.

Default WIP - Project "Time Jacked/Time Jacker"

WIP - Status Update - "Blocking out/Basic Shapes"

TIME JACKER! What is it?: A portable time machine suit with an enclosed helmet design.

Post some reference gathering which included scuba suits/sports bikes and other random tech i have started to blockout the suit, you can see the last project in the design which i have used as a base for the helmet but this amongst a whole bunch of things will slowly change as i slowly tweak and define the design as a whole.

The following image is the blockout so far which i have thrown into keyshot to get a feel for some materials and play around with the look...........more WIPS soon!
