Here’s my latest portfolio piece based on a concept by Jean-Baptiste Monge.
great!
Very nice render! and sculpt!
I hope you dont mind … i thought the image may benefit from a little warming up.
Really cool little dude though
Love it!
Great character.
WELL DONE is really closed to my illustration, just maybe add little red on the schnoze and on the cheekbones, and damaging the clothes a little bit and it will be perfect ;).
TOP NOTCH work !!
Thanks I’m glad you like it.
Jean, you’re absolutely right and thanks once again for letting me use your illustration.
mrpeculiar, I don’t mind and thanks for the effort but I find your color correction over saturated and too mono chromatic.
I tuned up my image using a top of the line studio monitor and I’m pretty confident it’s warm enough.
Here’s a closeup I cropped from a print size render.

Top Row, super impressive work.
wat did you use for rendering?
Nice tribute, I love the work of Jean-Baptiste Monge too,
that’s begin to be hard to find an artwork not done wet
Great job in any cases !
Here’s a simple breakdown of the techniques I used to to create this model.
One of the probably most overlooked features in zbrush is use of stencil which becomes even more powerful combined with tileable textures.
I also use stencils to project some cloth wrinkles patterns and wrap feature under stencile menu makes the projection stretching free.
I hope you’ll find this helpful and feel free to ask if you have any questions.
Happy Zbrushing!
