I'm here to share what I am working on right now.
I am creating a portrait of Lana del Rey, and this is my first likeness attempt and now I know how difficult it is ahaha.
I've created the base of the head and worked the topology of the mesh. At the moment I am working on the eyeballs, but I am not finding any good tutorials teaching how to draw realistic textures for the eyes. Do you know any so I can take a look at? I would really appreciate.
Nice skin render in vray. Great spec map, makeup and eyes so far. Maybe try researching and adding some more subtle gloss to the nose ridges cheeks and other areas where the skin produces more oils then the rest of the face. There's a great thread on skin renders over at cgfeedback I found a ways back that helped me last project. I can't find the exact page of his huge thread but here's a link to his project. It's insane. http://www.cgfeedback.com/cgfeedback...t=3776&page=40
One more preview, guys. I have been studying the hair the entire week and after a lot of hard work, I think I came with a good result.
This is a low quality render, because it was taking too much time to render, but I think you can have a good idea.
Hope you like it!
