Default Game of War: Fire Age ft. Kate Upton (Hyrda)

While at Method Studios, I was responsible for the modeling and sculpting of the Hydra creature for the Game of War: Fire Age commercial you can see in the link below. The modeling process was completed in just under three weeks, one of which was completely dedicataed to sculpting the head which is featured below. Feel free to add any questions on comments, Thanks for viewing

Sweet dragon. All the scales done by hand?

Someone got carried away with the Inflate brush on Kate Upton, though.

Great job, man. Looks really meticulous. Textured in Zbrush, also?

    Tartan - Thanks!

cdizzle - hahaha! Thanks, I would say that 90% of the scales are by hand, some of the tiny ones on the side of the head were laid out with an alpha but had to be cleaned up after. I also added variations in size to break it up.

Itak - Thanks! really?? where abouts is that?

    Mikademius - Thank you

sadicus - Thanks, yes the whole team at method did a great job.

Vaul - No, the texturing was done in mari by another artist.
