Hi guys!
I’ll start dropping all of my sculptures, sketches and videos in this thread.

I’ll start with Mr. Easy.
A character which sort of grew inside myself after meditating a bit on tension between sadness and serenity.
Sculpted in Zbrush and rendered in Keyshot.
This is my first piece of 2015.
The title comes from eastern philosophy and I’ll let the viewer experience the meaning of this sculpture.
It’s been sculpted with symmetry entirely turned off to have the feel of traditional sculpting. Quite challenging but felt great. I’ll post a video of the process soon.
A couple of pics from a 6 hours clay study from life:
Nice study. Do you plan more sesions on that?
What is the size of the sculpture?
really like Mr Easy
very characterful

Hi Nebular, roughly 35-40cm tall. I had to finish it in 6 hours as a deadline so it’s completed.
I always try to do 1 live study a month at a workshop here in London. Next Thursday I’m doing a 6 hours portrait
really like Mr Easy

Mr. Easy is a good soul :), I’m glad it got to you

Sounds cool. Remember to share it

Yeah…I should update my sketchbook soon…I’m also working on some fan art at the moment. I’ll post a very early stage before asymmetry, detailing, wrinkles and expression, etc.…maybe you guys recognize the character
Finally finished the “beautiful” Pepper. A bit of American Horror Story fan art…
great piece of work.keep it up.
Quite nice! Looks great.
Thanks guys for your kind feedback.
I’ll update with some of my clay studies. This was a long pose portrait.
This is very promising WIP! I particularly liked the eyes expression, don’t touch it anymore, please:D. Is it a sculpt from a model or just an imagination?
Hey Paul,
it’s finished as it is
It was a study from a model, 6 hour pose… I’d say with a free interpretation of the expression
Oh, I see, thanks! I didn’t want to hurt you with a WIP definition. I simply meant you might wipe out some clay pieces from the base… Absolutely astonishing work!
Hey Paul no worries, I love to hear every kind of feedback.
I myself as a human being am a big Work in Progress!
I actually fired it but still have to get back the piece.
Thanks for your warm post! Very much appreciated
This is another rendering. I’ve tried to capture a more moody feel…
I like the SSS effect on his ears.nicely done man.;);)
