    Default Nyc token

    Hello
I am currently working on a side project to create a ring with the NY Transit Token on top for a buddy of mine.
I got the modeling of the token and rendered in keyshot for visualisation.
He wants a more massive ring to hold/embed the token.

However - I am stocked a little on the ring itself - size etc. before I could even think of sending it to a 3D printer.
I think this is the first time I realize there is no metric system inside ZB - except before you export to stl.

Any suggestions on how to prepare everything for the right measurements?

You could try to import a simple object - a cube for example - with a known size, let's say
1m x 1m x 1m.Then go to the export settings and see what you got there.
    Calculate your things accordingly.
Tried it with some things for an app that expects metric stuff and it worked.

Import a cube model with known dimensions. 1mm x 1mm x 1mm. Calibrate your transpose line to that. When you pull out your transpose line the tick marks will be at .1 and 1.0 mm intervals.
