    Default Aggrajag

    Hi everyone,

Over the last 6 months, I have been transitioning from traditional sculpting to adding digital sculpting to my skillset learning ZBrush from zero. This is the first set of posts showing some of that work. I still have an enormous amount to learn but I hope to be as proficient at this one day as a lot of the amazing artists on here are.

    Thanks for taking a look!

A pleasure to see such a much respected fellow here at the forum.
Doubtless you'll humiliate us all with effortless digital proficiency in next to no time.

Keep plasticine and clay beside you - to sniff for the tangible whilst dabbling with the virtual.
Looking forward to the visual fruits of your ZBrush journey.

    Default Space Dog Hike

Space Dog Hike. Concept by Cory Loftis. I wanted to do this entire environment in Maya since I really like how you can light and render things, but getting the textures transferred over from ZBrush takes a bit more than I know at the moment. I only ended up modeling, texturing, lighting and rendering the mountains in Maya. The flute-like plants on the left were modeled in Maya as well. The rest is done in ZBrush.
