    Cheers Knacki & milivoj_popovic!

Here are some timelapses for the Jekyll & Hyde sculpts. I want to get into the habit of recording my work a bit more as I've found it a really useful tool for self evaluation!

    Hi James,
the Remembrance day sketch is exceptional, although it is so much more than a sketch.
You've captured a great chiseled, sculptural quality that is perfect for the subject.
All of your sculpts shown in this thread have got so much depth and form, all rolled up into an engaging character.
Thanks for sharing them with us.

    dustbin1_uk & timpanin84 : Thanks, really appreciate the comments

johncox85: Thanks so much! I love playing with planes and asymmetry with my sculpts. Sometimes doing this ends in disaster but most of the time I'll learn something from it! I've found it also translates well into a printed object if I want to go that route, which is always fun

Busts on the theme of Frankenstein

I really had fun playing around with these characters, some great themes around the book to play with and expand on.

    Dr Frankenstein

Here's my latest finished project, I really wanted to challenge myself and test the limits of what's possible with both Zbrush and Keyshot on my system. I'm not the most organised of artists so it was a really good experience to plan and manage a project of this size and there were definitely areas I could improve on! The sculpt itself is based on an old sketch which I had great fun revisiting. I've included a breakdown of some of my process, it's not exhaustive but I found it really useful to appraise what I've learnt and hopefully it gives a fun insight into how I went about things.

Very individual and distinctive as always - even more so. I've been admiring the heroic drama and energy you've encapsulated in this piece without overplaying the details for the flow.
Love the clothing wrinkles which you do so well to bring further life to your work

A piece with the energetic qualities of an N.C Wyeth and his illustrative contemporaries made 3D.

    Bravo James,
