Heya, I've been playing around with zbrush for the past several years, had a thread up a looooong time ago, but kinda forgot all the info about it, so I'll start fresh!
This character, all of the heavy lifting was done in zbrush, with the texturing knocked out in Substance. For more design stuff, ya can visit the artstation page
All feedback is welcome! Hope to post more here soon!
I was contracted to do some assets for Ablevfx (http://www.ablevfx.com/) for TNT's Quest. Now that they've been aired, I've been given permission to show some of the behind the scenes!
AbleVFX did the bulk of the work, and did a fantastic job, I just provided some models and textures to fill in the blanks!
Zbrush was massively useful in getting assets out fast (the environment had a 3-day turnaround) and getting it hooked up in their LW-pipeline with displacement maps. You can watch the spots here: https://www.facebook.com/NBAONTNT/vi...56349902380724
A lot of renders were outputted in marmoset toolbag, to quickly get an idea of light placement, and getting buy-off on how things would look in final frame.
