Hi,
I have tested the free brushes and
what I can say is the quality is just very nice, if it is not perfect (in my opinion).
Very clean, and effective effects.
ps: worked with r7 but not r6.
About wood I think it is a good idea (& continuation 4 U)
Here are some suggestions, ideas or 'inspiration':
brushes for:
- ground parquet planks (pretty non damaged or maybe some ones)
- wall planks damaged and with some nails (or not), I think about walls wood houses etc
- same think (wall planks) but not damaged
- beams (damaged or not, in one side only, or not)
- broken planks/beams/ground parket (in one side only, or two)
- and why not, natural wood from vegetation, trees branches, trees, broken branches, broken trees, etc
- and why not an imm or (curve) brush (smthg like that) which will permit to user to make his own object in wood: like for (rounded, squared, etc) frames shapes, fireplace, table, etc (borders of a ground and walls wich sometimes have (wood, plaster) decoration, or in ceiling around the light bulb, etc)
thanks a lot for your ideas will surly make some of those,
as for the usability for different versions of zbrush, sadly if you make the brushes in r7 they won't work in r6 etc, but as r7 is a free upgrade I didn't give it much thought,
but I added the height data to the paid version so you can add them to any version you want
