Default My character project progress thread.

    Hi guys,
So I'm a game art senior in college and I'm working on my senior project. Since I want to work on monsters and characters, I'm doing two game-ready character models. The idea is that they're a dual boss sort of thing, the humanoid character provides ranged support while the monster character does the melee damage.

The workflow I'll be doing will be: Zbrush > 3dsMax > Marmoset or UE4.

Here is my concept and current progress on the sculpt of the humanoid character.

I look forward very much to hearing thoughts and feedback!

    Thanks slocik!

    Update time!

The high poly stuff is more or less done. The only thing I have left to do is to apply a nice fabric alpha to some parts and also put in stitching where appropriate. I'm going to try making my own brush for that hence why it's not done yet.

Some closeups of the hands -

And I am starting to block out the anatomy for the other monster, here is my blobby thing.

    Update!
Sorry for the cruddy renders, they were made in haste! Arms are still low-res since I'm waiting to get some more real-life reference before I solidify them. But soon.

nice, what i would change is add very strong compression on his neck jest behind his face so it seems his head was forcefully broken and pushed back with all the skull region compressed and broken, since now the face looks a bit awkward
