Very Nice! How long does it take to make such a detailed model?

Great sculpt. Can you share more on the techniques and what features of ZBrush were used?

    Wink Process of creation

Thank you all for the comments.
I'm very glad that you are pleased with the result.

Here is the short process description:
The goal was to create a realistic character similar in style to “The Road” movie or “Last of us” game.
That is why we combined casual wear with military equipment.
Basic geometry for the clothes was obtained though 3D scanning process which was done using our photogrammetry rig.

First we scanned jacket with body armour simultaneously, then body armour separately , in order to have separate sub-tools for each piece.

After processing 3D scan data, setting the pose and assembly of all parts we end with excellent base for further work.

At first the head was purely 3d scanned too. But later we decided to change face in order to give it more age and character, so it was hand-sculpted over the first scan.

For additional details standard Zbrush tolls were used along with some custom brushes. For additional factures we used Surface Maker.

To define basic seam shape we used Dam_Standart and Pinch brushes with lazy mouse option enabled. For stitching we used custom brushes - Stitch and DoubleStitch. For damaged fabric ClothDamageBrush was used.
All this brushes are available for download here: https://yadi.sk/d/9iQPz8gejjJMp
