    Default The Portrait Project "Aldo"

    Hi, folks

I would like to introduce my latest artwork project "Aldo". My goal for this project was the "make a human face as real as possible".
It was bit big challenge to learn all kind of new technology but i'm glad and enjoyed to learn latest technology and finalized this project at the end
In addition, I'm really appreciated my friend Aldo who was model of this project.
    Hope you like my work.

    thanks
    Ryan

Awesome work, I really dig it!

Could you share what maps did you create in Mari to get such a nice result ?

    Hi, Jakub

thanks like my artwork, my shader setup is quite simple, used Arnold SSS shader and play with minimum texture map.
I can not show you displacement screen-shot which is generated in ZBbrush 32bits float. here is hypershade window in Maya.

Some solid work here, great nice stuff... my only crit would be the diffuse is a tad pale compared to a real human head.

thanks for like my work. I agree your opinion when I took a reference photo the skin color was too pale, I should bring polarized lenses next time to eliminate spectacular on the skin.
so I try to match the balance with SSS shade but there is limitation. Learn from mistake thanks for the comment!
