    Default Disney's Beast Redesigned - with Making-Of

    Hi guys,

This is a sculpt I've been working on and off for a couple of months now. It originally started out as a 2 hour speeds sculpt which just grew from there. It's sculpted in ZBrush, rigged and posed in Maya and finally rendered in Arnold for Maya.

    Here's a quick making-of and some more Arnold-renders.

I have to tip my hat to any man who manually sculpts the fur using this approach for an entire character. I commend you, sir. 1000 hours indeed.

If this were an exercise in patience it would be a personal choice, but when it is dedication to obtain the desired result, it is very impressive!

Congrats for the beast! Great sculpt.

    Default Looks great!

I've seen many models so far, but this one is very impressive, especially the fur. You have done a great job! I'm wondering how many hours you spend on designing it?
