Edge Chronicles Quint Fan Art

Hey Guys!

I've been a long time lurker on Zbrush, and I finally got round to actually contributing!
I'm currently working on some Edge Chronicles Fan Art, I'm recreating Quint from the original cover of the Winter Knights.
This is the cover,

(When I have a chance to scan my copy, I'll upload a better version!)

And my progress so far!


The hard surface elements have been quite a challenge so far as I haven't really done it before, and I have only just started to put all the pipes in. The face needs more definition and I need to properly do the cloth, but I'm fairly happy with where its going to far!

I will keep updating as I go, and any feedback and advice would be amazing! I'm really looking forward to getting more involved with the Central community!

Hey guys!

Made some progress on the armor and also added a better version of the illustration I'm recreating,



My hard surface methods have changed an incredible amount since when I started this sculpt, and I feel I am only glimpsing the power of the transpose tool X3 Things still to do, finish the face, sculpt the cloth in the joints of the elbow and around the neck. I am moving the assets such as the sword and helmet to add ons, so I am aiming to get what I have at the moment as finished as I can so I an add it to my website.

Hey Guys!

More updates! Started to texture the sculpt, I tightened up the face a lot and I've been retopo'ing.



Any feedback would be really helpful, particularly on the face and topology! I have a lot of texturing ahead, the main challenge so far is how fiddily it has been to bake all the maps, but I think I have managed to set it up that will save me time when I'm rebaking everything.
