King Foltest's Hall

In this project my goal was to use Zbrush in interior environmental architectural spaces and see how sculpting would work instead of bump textures and displacement maps. Turns out it works amazing

Vault ceiling and floor are not modeled in zbrush however walls, columns , arcs , windows and ornaments are modeled in 3ds max and zbrush

Rendering was done using vray 3 for 3ds Max 2015

I hope you like it

The Knight’s model and banners’ design are created by Torn Banner Studio for their game Chivalry: Medieval Warfare

I really wonder how could one get recognition as a first time user.

Hey, nice work. Can you show some ZBrush screenies?
Did you use zmodeler or different technique?

Hey,nebular

Thanks and sure thing just give me a few minutes to gather some screenies

As for zmodeler (which would have made the work flow so much easier) unfortunately I didn’t use it because I just knew about it while working on this scene so the work flow was pretty basic goes as follows:

Basic Model on 3ds Max > Use z remesher which worked like magic and subdivide > sculpt using brushes and stencils > Decimation master > export as FBX

Thanks again for the reply

Here are some of the screen shots i managed to gather (Limited by 8 files)

Look like a lot of work. Good job!

How big is the final scene?

Well it was about 120~130 mill polygons I guess
even after decimating every thing I export

Sounds heavy

It sure was
Here are some additional shots
