Locking reference image

Hello, Is there a way to lock the reference image so when sculpting on top of the image you do not accidentally move the image/scene?
Thanks in advance, George

No, and yes.

You should be storing your views either through zapplink or with the timeline.
That way if you move your model you can restore the position.

Are these 3rd party plugins, and will they wok in Zbrushcore?
Thanks

No, you can’t use plugins with ZBrushCore. But they shouldn’t be necessary.

How have you set up your reference image? Are you using the grids? I’m not clear what your problem is.

Hello,
It is when I accidentally grab the background while working on the model and moving it.
George

Thanks George, now I understand.

There’s no button to turn off rotation but what you can do is add a plane as a subtool just behind your model. This will stop the model rotating when you don’t want it to.

Here’s an example project file of what I mean: Unzip to your Desktop and then load through the File menu.
