I am playing with materials, trying to create something specific using multi channels. the s1 s2 s3 s4. buttons at the top of the material modifiers interface.
But here is the thing, on mine they are greyed out, I can open a material with 2 working and adapt it, but I cant work out how to use all 4. I tried filling in details on S1, then saving out, I have tried turning the S1 channel off.. but no matter what I try I cant get any of the other channels to open for adaptation. Im just wondering what Im doing wrong? am I missing an obvious button or process?..
Choose a material with all the four channels, like the QuadShaders that is available by default in ZBrush. You will have all four channels and you can Copy/Paste into each channels with the CopySH/PasteSH button (located above the channels).
