core to sp2

Hi,
Newb here so forgive the basic question. Am aware that many of the tools in Zbrush arent in core. What I want to know is once you have created your beautifull mesh with lots of polys and want to take it into say substance painter2 and/or maya how do you reduce the polys? I read that there is no UVing and the texturing ability is very basic so I need to go into another software, maybe even xNormal. But a huge amount of polys will cause issues in other software so is there a way to do something like decimate I think it was?
Thanks,
Scott

You can use the Optimize for 3D printing button in the File menu. This only works if the mesh is above 200,000 polygons, and will reduce the count to 100,000 or thereabouts.
