hello. i started this project by making rough intersecting geo in maya and dynameshing it and then zremesh and sculpt high res details. i then uv'd and painted in mari, making skin shaders in vray and rigged and posed the character in maya. then i combined all the objects and dynameshed to get the watertight version for 3d printing. on the high res, i used vray to bake the skin shaders into a texture map and used maya transfer maps to get the high res baked detail into a color map for the 3d printed version.
