Here is what started out as a random speed sculpt…but just got bigger.
Nano meshes for the fabrics combined with a few fibers.
layers to pose the face.

very nice

Thank you Koray.

I raise a glass to tartan nanomesh.

Few artworks you could accuse of being tripe and mean it as a compliment.
A resosnant whiff of Ian Bannen’s portrayal of Robert de Brus as a leper in Braveheart .

Ha ha yes I can see that in him. Also Rumpole of the bailey. Grumpy, with an itchy gavel finger.
Cheers Boozy!

Hey Russell,
You have surpassed yourself with this one…
Everything in this image is just right.
The fabrics so well crafted and so real.
And what’s not to like in the character.
Excellent skin tones and facial composition.
You are soaring to new heights with this one…

Thank you so much Paleo3D, Fabric nano meshes are my new favorite thing.
And who dosnt love making flabby skin.
Cheers!

It was found at the back of a small cupboard wrapped in a piece of knitted red wool.
An odd looking thing, it was a carved from a Walrus tusk.
Old and yellowed, nobody was quite sure how it got there or the story behind the small figurine.
Or the boy who came to live in the sea with the Turtles.

Made this character to look like bone.
I made a red wool nano mesh with a UV-ed texture.
Added some fibers to give some fuzz.
Tried a couple of other wool options before this one which looked too smooth.
Cheers BFGNZ

Turtle boy.jpg

This has got to be the best and cuddliest wool I’ve seen come out of CG.
Looks so real and soft. Lucky Turtle Boy , gets to rub his face in it.
A very simple but effective-traditional composition.
Well done my friend.

Ha haaa! Thanks Paleo3D. Soft so soft…

Hi,
Here is an idea that gave me the chance to play with nanos and fibres.
Finally…Spring.
