HaHa Love it. Nice work.
Very nice work!
Could you tell a little bit about how you approached the feathers?

Haha nice! Very colorful and funny ideas Caetano!
Thanks guys!
Hi there Fynn! Thanks for asking. I basically started from a fur preset in Modo made for feathers. It already contained the alphas necessary to create each individual feather. I then tweaked it a lot to match what I was looking for and masked the areas where there would be plumage and others with regualr fur (the head). What the preset does actually is to create fur fibers in the shape of planes, pointing down. Each plane gets a feather alpha attatched to it and looks like a single feather. Since the wing feathers were not pointing down, I had to resort to manual feather placement. Needless to say that this workflow would not necessarily work in an animation pipeline, lol!
ope what I said came out clear enough! Ask me if you have any other questions!
thanks a lot for your answer!
I will try to recreate the method inside of zbrush
Looking forward to your next work

Great concepts and work.
this is awesome can you make a tutorial on how you rendered these scenes
Thanks!
Stephon972: It was pretty straightfoward rendering in Modo 902! Using HDR enviroments and lights. The most different thing was the setup of the feathers and maybe the underwater effect I made using an alpha in the light color material.
