Female Wolf Model (WIP 1)

Hello fellow users!
I’m taking my final semester of school and want to build a nice portfolio/demo reel by the end of April. I mostly modeled props and environments during my time in school, but what I really want to do is character modeling. I want to take the time and ask for some feedback.

I’m modeling one of the female wolves in this illustration by Olivier Silven.
He is active on other sites, but I came across his work by browsing Artstation and Tumblr :

I’m so happy he is allowing me to model one of his illustrations; I’ll try my best to make it look good, for his and my sake!

I think I hit most of the points, but areas like the eyes, head shape, neck, and hands are bothering me. Does anyone else feel the same? If so, what is it about those areas that stick out like a sore thumb? Also point out anything else I need to adjust in order to make the model more accurate to the illustration.
