Pirate Bard

Hey everyone! Decided to start posting my sculpts here :)This project was based off of an awesome D&D illustration by Bob Kehl ( bobkehl.com & https://www.artstation.com/bobkehl). Sculpted in ZBrush with minimal modeling help in Maya and rendered with Renderman, all over the last 2 weeks. This was a super fun project that led to the creation of a lot of brushes, insert meshes, and techniques to use in the future. I made this sculpture with printing in mind since it’s something I have wanted to experiment with for awhile, if I get a good result from this I’ll post an update! Comments and critique always welcome

this was a quick weekend project based on a sketch by Kevin Keele (https://www.instagram.com/p/BM9WBxnhLqq/?hl=en&taken-by=kkeeleart) I loved the shapes and decided I needed some practice with XGen hair. Sculpted the head in ZBrush, retopoed in Topogun, textured in Substance Painter and rendered with Arnold. I wanted to render with Renderman but XGen had different plans, I am happy with the result regardless. 12 XGen descriptions total to control this ball of hair! Let me know what you think and thanks for looking
