This is going to be awesome. Love me some Boba Fett
Cool idea!
Don't you think that the landed, ground version could fit better for this special use?

Thanks Oscar, Rasmus Paul, and Knacki!
Knacki, I did consider the landed version, I just liked the flying position more and the fact that the kid would be facing the correct way in the cockpit this way. It's possible I end up changing my mind though.
Hoping to dig into this some more over the weekend!

I see. I didn't know that the pilot is seated with back towards window in landing position.
Looking forward to see the progress!
When the ship is landed, the cockpit windows face up and so do the inside seats. In Phantom Menace there's a scene where Bobba is inside, strapped in and waiting for his father to join him. He's on his back, facing the sky.Originally Posted by Knacki

Thank you aurick. Now I found it:

There were some drawings looking like the cockpit is 90 degree rotatable for landing.

Any new WIPs images we can see? Looking forward to see where you are with the piece.
Man, work and house projects have been kicking my ass this month, so I hardly had any time to spend on this contest which really bums me out. I am rendering final images as I type this, but here are a few WIP as well. I started over completely because I didn't like my blockout and wanted to mess with the proportions to make them more fun and toy like. So I started redoing it last night and literally spent all day since I woke up this morning working on this. I wanted to do a lot more with the detail and the paint, but I am pretty happy with this for getting it done in about 30 hours. Final images in a few minutes.
