Now I just need to learn how in the heck to texture it. The UVW i get out of it is 1 color shaded. How do you get a wireframe out of it, any guides? Another question, do must texture these models inside zbrush or out side?
There are many video tutorials in youtube for uv mapping https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQht6S7aWD
But you can just start polypainting and forget about uv mapping https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIw94Bu-R_U
good luck
Thanks you for the guidance! Just absorbed all that new info from the vids. Shocked how powerful polypainting with spot light is! I managed to do what takes 30 minutes into 5 minute with that tool. Now, I need 1 more assistance. I googled and searched but only ead to very long tutorials. I think I am not getting what I want from those, I am looking in how to extract the polypaint from the mesh so i can export the UVW to another render. Any help?
ok… figured it out. now i cant figure out how to extraxt the polypaint into a uvw. help? Ok…figured it out. My problem was I need to use the UV master to get it to UVW.
Sure go to TEXTURE MAP menu/ Create / New from polypaint
Thats what I was doing, but the selections were not highlighted for me to select. Turned out I had to do the UVmaster first. then they became available. Thanks for the help. Here is the final rendering using KS and brightened a little with PS.
