Heretic Templar, it would be great if you shared your TimeLapse video in your post. It's easy. Just upload it to YouTube or Vimeo and note the video ID number. Great stuff in the thread!
BUT i would like to note that sculpting from a block of stone, in reality, is just subtractive sculpting. So if you use to much additive sculpting, it's not really a Michelangelo- in every block of stone is a sculpture- challenge, but regular sculpting which is also great, but kind of missing the point of the unique aspect of this challenge, Imho

MilivojPopovic, you are right that only subtractive sculpture would be true Michelangelo or any stone sculptors technique. I don't believe this particular instance of a 15 minute sculpt challenge with sculptris pro has been described as subtractive only by pixiologic. It's only the volume of the piece that has to be maintained. I fail to understand your disconnect. Only subtractive is possible in zb but will need a longer time limit to achieve.

This is an amazing idea! I'm very excited and the feeling takes me back to my college days were i used to sculpt with real stone!!
This is very fun challenge, sculpted in 15 mints.

thomasphoenix and milivoj_popovic are both right. A true Michelangelo Challenge would indeed be subtractive, only. However, this challenge is meant as an homage while also remaining FUN. So long as the base of the block remains, the participants on-site will be able to both add and subtract.

trying to imagine a model being too big for the bounding box. i didnt keep track of the time but think i was way under the 15 minutes, i will retry something similar in the future trying to push more the details suggesting he is being compressed against the invisible bounding box

Unfortunately, I turned Dynamesh on, which is why the crunchy structure was blurred.
I read too late that I could use Scultpris-Mode.
But maybe it's an inspiration for others, my result?
But I needed more than 15 minutes :-)

PS. Ups, i klicked -Select for Mature Audiences- can one moderator disable this from my post? I don't know how.
I don't know how i can attach a image so that it is to see large.

That's why we provided the test file. It gives everyone a chance to practice so that you can get down to less than 15 minutes. And so that you can learn to avoid using things like DynaMesh.

Not easy to sculpt something decent for 15 mins(16 in my case) but here you go. Happy Zbrushing
