How to get an objects dimensions in zBrushCore?

I’ve searched for answers and found a video on how to do it in zBrush. Being brand new to this I couldn’t figure out how to do the same in zBrushCore (I don’t have an edit button for one thing). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to be using ZBrushCore 2018. If you’ve not upgraded yet then it’s free for registered users: ZBrushCore 2018.

Then you have two options:

  1. In the Tool palette>Geometry>Size menu, the sliders give you the generic size inside ZBrush.
  2. In the Zplugin palette>3D Print Hub the Update Size Ratios button will give you the same information with the options to set mm or inches for export. You can then use the plugin to scale the model how you want before exporting. See here:

Thanks much Marcus!!

Is there a way to “turn on” the bounding rectangle so I can see it?
