Default ZBrush 2019 Beta testing - Daniele Angelozzi

Here are some of the tests i have done during the beta testing of the new release, i tried to create some models to stress test the folders and the zremesher (the things that would be really handy in my everyday work), i was also very intrigued by the new universal camera and the possibility to take advantage now of it to compose passes coming from the new amzing NPR and physical renders.
the toad party was an idea inspired by the works of the master JBmonge, with a touch of bernini (easter egg) and some dark irony

some tests with the new zremesh and the npr system

Default saint george and the dragon - the last blow

for this one i explored the possibility to compose passes coming from keyshot with the new npr system in order to achieve some "painterly effect" mixed with a realistic lighting.

a final color correct pass in PS was done in order to compensate for the lack of calibration of my monitor and bring the color palette towards some sort of "caravaggio" mood (shadows with a red tint and midtones/higlights more yellowish). simple setup, here is the breakdown, the key element is of course playing with the npr filters to achieve some paint strokes effect
