    Default Vampire

    Heres my new creature.. "Senor Vampire" did him in 1 evening... been trying to sculpt more and more.. will try and do at least 1 every weekend for myself...since all the work ive been doing is for work...which by the way the trailer for THE CAVE just came out and you can see it here..

    anyways hope you guys like it...the hair was done in Photoshop.

    The Wire frame...not worried about topology at all....
    base mesh: 380 polys....displaced 1,300,000 polys
    Textures were also painted in Zbrush..

    I don't know if there is anything wrong with the ears, but I'd like to see them made like the bats you posted. I like those ears! Anyway, this is an awesome design! Is there a body to go along with it, or is it just a head study?

    ya this is just a head study...when i made the ears like the above reference...it really looked funny...i mean the ears on those things are the same size of the skull....it looked like dumbo trying to look scary....

    anyways...done is done i guess....i kinda knew the ears would either be a hit or miss..

    Great model...I like the ears...i think they just seem a bit far away from the head so look a bit awkward...having said that the texturing on them is sweet.

    You did a great job of texturing him up! Did you combine material with texture or is it all texture?

    look forward to your next experiment for yourself!!

    Thumbs up Good Work !

    Texturing is very good. The Subsurfacing effect on the ears are very impressive.
