Default help with upper lips...and any comments?

I tried doing a woman, and i'm mostly happy with her, but her upper lip proved to be too much...i can't figure it out. I've attached a wireframe (after I forgot, did a meshsmooth then deleted the stack below it) and a couple of quick renders.

i also HAVE to try texturing properly.

does this question belong in a different area? if so, my bad - it was kind of a work-in-progress and i-need-help post...i got confused....

here's a modelling session of some lips. I started with a 3d sphere. I didn't bother to get detailed or anything. This was sort of rushed, but I think you'll get the basic idea, and you can work from there.

warning: This zscript does run a bit long, so please bear with it, and once you think you've seen enough just exit the zscript.

the end result will look something like this:

hope you were looking for something like those. If you have any questions, just post them.
