Hey! Well done Tim! Your extra posts add some excellent tips for colour correction! I hope Sebcesoir doesn't mind, but I-for-one appreciate your contrabution. Good food for thought!

Well done Sebcesoir! I really get the sence of the 3d structure of the head and all the underlining muscle and bone. I recomend everybody to do a portrait of a loved one!

My only critique might be the ears...

    Damn,

I couldn´t resist. Added a bit focus on the face, using the selective
colorcorrection as described (31%) but as a softlightmode layer with
50% opacity. Blows away a slight bit of detail, adds back in alot of color.

To soften the effect, sebcesoirs original render comes ontop, as a
saturationlayer, 100% opacity. Results in a pretty stable luminancecurve
but still adds some contrast to the eyearea. Drawing attention.

If one disables the layermask on the softlightlayer, the overal appereance
is even more pronounced - shifting a bit towards a warmer darkish tone.

Kills details in the hairs - one could do that but probably would end up
painting out the air in the mask - to keep a better overall density range.

Really liked messing with Sebcesoirs image instead of having a lunchbreak...

Here´s the result. I could go on for hours...

    Cheers

Tim, I really like your PS enhancements. But on my Monitor the secoond and third give her a distinct green tone in the skin. She looks as if she enjoyed a ride on a fast rollercoaster 8-). The first enhancement almost jumps out of the screen. I'm witing for her to blink.... The second has this green touch and the third looks a tad spotty on top.... I have two different LCD's conencted to my PC and both show the same trend...

    Cheers

    Default wow

This is the single most amazing piece of modelling I've ever seen. I can't believe you got this render out of zbrush, omg. Seb, can I ask how you went about texturing the shirt?

pesto- it would appear to me that the shirt and most of the hair isn't zbrush...but part of a photo that's been composited (correct me if i'm wrong)...via the techniques demonstrated by the multitalented bas mazur in this link:

or something similar by this recent thread of breuer:

    Lemmonado,

thanks for making me aware. I´ve a Sony 21" G520 CRT as my main display.
Tends to have a slight redish tint - checked things on a second screen.

You´re right, green alot more pronounced. It´s either the embedded ICC
profile (in the *.jpg´s) or due to working in 6500° Kelvin instead of 9300°.

Don´t know really, will have my colors checked.

    Thanks again.

    Cheers

Sebcesoir, your skill seems to be at the same level as MonsterMaker's. I'm humbled in your presence . I'm not sure who this woman is, maybe a Google search is in order, but she would have to be pleased with this highly complementary sculpture! Press on.....
Keep pushin' those pixols, and tappin' to the code!
