Default Hexagon 2 with zbrush 2 Bicycle WIP.

Iv been learning Hexagon 2 and have started to make my mountain bike. I havethe box frame but thought il start wiht the hard part the wheel.

After several hours working out the spokes I found a method in which the whole wheel can be made in 30 min. Hexagon 2 is very fast and intuitive program despite its bugs

Nice wheels, but I can't agree with the Hex 2 statement, it's very slow compared to Silo, less intuitive & very unstable...

But you seem to be getting the hang of it...

One question though, how do you pump the tyres up???

Zbrush was my first ever molding program so I hadnt got into the traditional molding untill now with hexagon 2. Im finding this program realy cool but if you rekon silo is good il check it out.

Iv gota add the valve later on. lol

Heres the other parts done in hexagon. Will texture and details in zbrush.

Buckie I will check out Silo 2 when its out, I cant imagine how silo is faster but am open to try it.

bicc39 thanks for the encouragement I intend to use both zbrush 2 and Hexagon in all projects. I have already started a another side project to make a realistic human, I have been doing alot of texturing skin test recently so look forward to doing that. A motorbike and car are on the cards.

    Default Hexagon 2.1 with zbrush.

Since I lost all my files to the bike I thought il update you all on how well im getting on with hexagon my $1.99 peice of software. Zbrush was used to start with to texture and play with to shaping it. Hexagon 2.1 has prooven to be very very well suited with zbrush. This car was a side project while working on a character the character to come is all mainly done in zbrush 2.0. I will post this real soon, until then hope you like my first go at a car 75% hexagon 20% ZB2.

    Is fun, you pay 1.99$
I pay 249$ for Hexagon 1.....then i paid 99$ (not sure now) for preorderd user and Hexagon 2.0 and 2.1 is a buggy software.
To learn from you can you make a tutorial or a video to see how you make this?

I dont know what went on with the pricing but it seems it was very unfair for some. It does still have its bugs but I hardly ever have a crash or problem since v2.1 came out.

Andreseloy Id be happy to make Video tutorial on the methods and functions of hexagon I used to make it. Since Hexagon 2.0 was brought on that sale for $1.99 was the only time iv ever use any 3d program other than zbrush 2.0 so it was all quite new to me using these new tools. I was supriced how fast it was to make things in hexagon.

A car that looks that good needs a name, I like the name The Tez ZB 2. Youv'e created a cool looking concept car. You should work in that field. I can never seem to do stuff like this as I get really bad brain fade. It would be quite cool to drive something like this.

Wow! this is good stuff indeed. Like to learn what your workflow is using hexagon with zbrush. I have Hexagon and am very inspired by this work. Can we see the wires, can can you tell me how zbrush helped with this model.

I had tryed to make a wheel like that mountain bike wheel but for the life of me cant work out how you did thoes spokes.
