This is excellent, and deserves top row, but my crit is that the lower half of the face is a little wide - see the pic below:

    TomC.jpg

Maybe the chin should be narrower too.
Anyways, keep it up, excellent work!

There are a few things that seem a little bit odd, but it's a decent resemblance. I mean I new it was George Clooney right away. (JK) I would find a range of photos that would give a better understanding of exactly where on the brow the eyebrows are for different expressions. There is also something odd around and between the zygomatic arches, and the jaw line that I can't put my finger on, and directly under the eye where the cheek meets the nose seems flatter than his, but that could be your texture.

    Default Great model

This is very deserving of top row. I agree with the comments made by the seasoned ZB-ers. My only comment would be that the iris color could be darker.

    Great stuff though.

It's not my intention to disturb anyone's sensibility with what I said. I just hate the guy.

I think the general look its OK, but you have some proportion problems. I tested scaling the head narrow and scaling higher just the chin and just the forehead, and think that is nearer to Cruise...

Thanks for the critics guys. Here is the last version before quite a long time, I need to go on something else

PS : yeah, I still plan to do the hair in real 3d

k0sm1k : you may not like the guy, but I think this kind of speech has no place in a forum like this one (I'm not especially a big fan of TC, but I would react like that for anybody else)

    Cheers

He is not looking like Tom, but the mesh and the photo are ok. The eyes, nose, mouth and jaw (face) needs some more work. Keep brushing!

Overall it looks excellent, but I think your model's eyes are not quite the same shape as Mr. Katie Holmes' eyes...

The edges of the eye are narrower than you indicated and the tallest part of the eye is right near the pink of the eye. Its a triangular shape more than a ovaluar shape. The current eyes make him look less scientologist you know and like he doesn't have the ability to zap opera with electral scientology beams.
