    Hey Panstar!

    Looking good so far!

I think this pic illustrates what some are talking about in terms of hanging fat, muscle definition:

    fatman.jpg

See the way his arms have little definition, and his chest sort of melts into the rest of his body...(I hope he's not on this forum)

    I hope this helps.

thats great Jit: the sort of refference image, I've been looking for, but the only ones I've come accross like this have been to small to work from.

And yes it does show, where i need to work on him. Thanks

this is very helpfull, I'm doing searches on obesity, Fat Man, Overweight, even Jabba for skin folds. and non of these images show up.

But yes it is very sad, that people can get to this.

    Thanks

Take a pen and pencil + a discreet window seat in MacDonald's and all the globular inspiration you've ever dreamed of should come your way.

This is a dark piece Brother - the forum has worked it's spell on you.

    Default updates bodyform

    HI All

been working more on smoothing and rounding off the bodyform, working from the refrences you kindly found for me. I managed to find a few of my own as well. I have also added detail to the bandages on his right arm, still need to do the left. Comments please

Good to hear from you mate. I like the suggestion above, and I have actually been toying eith the idea off having McDs burning in the background, but thought someone might get funny about that idea.

And yes, I have been charmed with a dark spell for this one. Thanks for you comments

Default New Texture Render comments and crits please

    Hi all

ok I've moved back and re done the texturing, as i can see better the areas i need to work on. this is the just the head area. And already i can see that i need to sculpt more on the upper lips and around the the eye. The nails pinned into the gums i feel could do with being smaller and i'm not 100% happy with the staples. But he's getting there and begining to show some life.

    Default Usefull image reference site

i meant to of added this link for what appears to be a very handy image searcher. however because its in flash it poses a problem when needing to save the images and the bottom "go to image link" doesnt seem to work. so its screen grab i guess

but i thought i will share, only found it the other day

Sweet. Its really starting to look good. Might I suggest a little more depth in the teeth area. They seem a little flat. Perhaps some darkening of the gaps between to teeth would help?

    Hey Panstar!

Looking really good so far - I think the face texture is awesome so far!

By the way, thanks for the link - the Flickr web page is nicely designed, some of the pics have different sizes available too! The link (view FlickR photo page) does seem to work for me (I'm using Firefox, if that makes any difference).

Thanks again, and keep it up with the updates!

    Jit.

    Default Thanks

    Thanks for the feedback.

XxDarkMessiahxX : thanks for the comments on the teeth, and i agree they still need a bit of work and started darkening between the teeth yesterday.

jit_gohil: Gladf you liked the links, and thanks for the comments on the skin Texture, once I'm fully happy with the form, I'll put a deeper effort into the texture.

I'm currently adding more skin folds around the the neck and given him a double chin. Which is working really well. Will post updates later today.

Worked more on the eye, and added earhole as if the ear has been severed.

The neck fat is looking good. The face is reminds me of Nemesis from Resident Evil.

oh wow! Good spotting, completey unintentional. I know the game but not the character. And your right, there is a close similarity. The stich even, falls over the same eye and held together with staples.

Oh hum, and I deliberatly stayed a away from looking at horror images for referance, in order to come up with somthing a bit origanal. At the begining of this thread, I mentioned about having Cenobites, in mind but have refrained from looking images up, and relide on my memmory of them, just lead me down the Clive Barker, mindeset. And it's been nearly 10 years since I've seen Hellraiser.

Oh well. I'll have to think right out of the box for the others

    thanks for that anyway.
