Tartan, I took the drinks you adviced me, but I feel more and more pi# off. I just throwed that windows-computer out of the window so I cannot hear anymore those far away from professional stupid noises. Yes I know, a windows machine is more cheap, and there is a lot of software to get for it. But I cannot work with a computer running a fake MacOS.

Bas I think I gave you bad advice now. Calm down and go to sleep. When you wake up in morning go get the computer out of the yard. All it is, is a tool. I dont think they are going to let their thousands of Zbrush mac fans stay in the dark for too long. I know how it is. I tried working on a Mac and I hated it, but only because I was so unfamiliar with it. The same is true for a lot of Mac users that try Windows. Its what you are used to.

This was mainly a texture test using a very old project file of mine. I think this dates back to 2000. Beard still needs more work. I have thought about redoing this before in another thread but using my own armor and figure. After seeing this redone and tweaked in Z I am very tempted to reconstruct the image in Z just to take advantage of the image potential I think can come from the program. Z3 is definitely more artist friendly. I am really starting to like the new texturing capabilities. They worked perfectly on this one. With Zaplink upcoming combined with this there wont be too many things we wont be able to do texture wise

I want some of what he's tripping on

Side note: somehow I can't believe that Bas actually threw a computer out of the window - not when there's an off chance he might hit a swallow.

    Default But Honey

Yah. He does look like he is tripping LOL I am wondering whether I can pull off an image similar but far superior. Z can do it but can I ? I have to agree with you. Bas wouldnt harm a swallow. Now a fish is another story

Ran into an old image that never got posted because I immediately used the pose in the image above and I was just checking settings in Bryce. Then I decided to make fun of it. Sorry no Z in this one but hopefully a chuckle?

    lol Giant

Thanks mario. Coming from you like that is one of the biggest compliments any artist can receive on these forums. I guess Matthew didnt particularly like me posting it with a thumbnail which is perfectly understandable as it Isnt Z. Just a little fun I have never truly plumbed the depths of Z but I think its time. I have threatened to redo Siege of Sanctuary (Dragons Nest) before. This time I think I will follow through by rebuilding the armor I did in an earlier thread and using the male mesh I built in Silo. After that we will see if I can milk the special effects I need to convey to give impact to the image. This newest build of Zbrush Definitely has its problems but it is enabling me to work more as an artist and I may finally be able to do that graphic novel using the base meshes I have built and never been able to pose before.

I have decided to do a doodle a day just for practice. I wont be posting many of them but this one I can use for another project after I redo Siege. Its the base head for some kind of rodent critter. Of some sort

It's fun to see how a small brush in Z3 can make a lot of details, something to do with resolution?

Nice start. Maybe the ears could be more big (better listening). Do you plan to make a body too?

Thx Bas, Yah I think I will. This version has freed me on sculpting. I have a scene in mind for this.
