Something mythological?
LOL Hmmmm Mythological. That may be fun to go do some research on![]()
More doodling. This time playing more with different armor ideas. I will probably build about 20 or so that I can use in different images. I like a full clothes closet![]()

Hey Mario. Most of the studs were done using the tweak tool and holding down alt. The rest was all masking I drew on and then inflated. I made a mistake by not saving my masks as I went. It will make texturing much harder lol. Anyway thanks man![]()

Thx Cal and Msmbrush,
Mario have fun rediscovering. There are many things you can do with it
Cal Mario is quite correct make sure you are in tweak mode. This technique works with masks also and gives more visible control to what you re doing.
I dont think I will be doing much more doodling on this one Msmbrush but here is the completed backshot.
If anyone uses masks in this way I suggest you save the masks as you go along because you can set the mats to give you texture using those masks. Thats the main reason why this was just a doodle. If I had done that, texturing would be a drop dead easy proposition. I am just using the same techniques I used in this old thread http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=25352 The doodling is helping me get back in the same mode. In fact I like that armor better but I think I am much better with Z than I was back then also. I still may redo that image.![]()

Here I am just fitting a version of the chest armor to DD. I made it blank with no detailing until I get ready to be serious with it. I think I will build some more armor pieces before I do because when I get into it I want a unified design across all armor pieces and it will be easier to accomplish with complete blank armor in place.
Wish I had more time but a busy day for me. I have a shipment of old go kart bodies to ship out plus one of the rolling doors on my warehouse jammed a foot above the floor and I have to wait for the door man to fix it![]()
