    Default berzerker

I've had the top half of this model laying around for a bit. I thought I might finish him up some today with z3. It's been a learning experience. Mesh extraction is very cool. I started to use insert mesh and figured out how that works for the most part. I'll be trying some other things in the coming days but I feel I'm headed in the right direction with all these new tools.

How did you transpose and have the subtools follow!?
Been trying and not working for me right now.

    Nice posing and model.
Hum, if these are subtools, man you're the first one to succeed in posing them with your main body. Yep, how??? (the one thousand $ question...)

The truth is that I cheated a bit. I took all of the subtools (had to export them individually, I haven't figured out how to export all of them at once) into their own obj files. In maya I imported each of the subtools, combined the meshes then re-imported them into zbrush as a single subtool. At that point I had to group the visible in the polygroups so that I made sure that zbrush saw this geometry as one mesh. I then posed away. I had t re-sculpt some parts to make things work but that's my secret.

Alas... no miracle there then, we'll have to wait a bit longer to not have to go to other software for this operation
    Thanks for the info though.

Actually, it is possible to export the subobj as obj files and reimport them on the main model, works like a charm for posing.

are you talking about rapid mode and file import?

and here is a quick turnaround of the character. Forgive me for I have been playing with the focal length

Yes, the import and export function in the tool palette. Export your subtools as an OBJ file and reimport it on the main object. You just have to make sure you have no subdivision history on your main object, you're warned anyway when you try to import with history and it won't work.
Posing with full mutiple objects is then possible. Have fun!
Great turnaround, actually the focal length does give a slight animated feeling.
