    Default Just a friendly face

This is my 1st head made in Zbrush3, actual my 2nd but I'll messed the first one because I'll started with a sphere3d with the poles in front.

Bit scary to post mine head between all those beautiful made models out here,
but I really want to hear your tips and criticisms, so here is my friendly face.

Looks good to me. The hair could perhaps benefit from a bit of refining. It's got that 'Welsh mountain sheep out-all-winter' look at the moment. But I reckon it's a good start.

Haha it should look like dreadlocks.
    Thanks for the comment.

Played with the subtools, have changed the hair.
Understand a bit more about the program and have to learn a lot.
But I really love to do this.

That's great. I like the Ancient Egyptian theme. Yes, subtools are a good way of working.

    Hi Marcus, thank you.
When I smooth out the hair and saw the face I'll have to think about a character (named "Taita") from one of Wilbur Smith his books called River God. It's a story from the old Egypt.
But I don't think "Taita" likes his hair, because it look a bit like a toupet (I hope this is the right word, a translation program says Hair nap?????)
Anyway, I don't now how to get it a bit thinner so he has to live with that.

    Sonja,
I think the Ancient Egyptians' hair looked like wigs anyway, so I think you're spot on. (Toupe is good English, though wig is more generally used.)

Try to paint on the subtools. I didn't now how, but Zwebrush helped me with that. So Zwebrush if you perhaps reading this, thanks again.
Its not the greatest head but its my 1st (textured) in Zbrush ever.
    I'm Happy (Zbrushing)

Tanks Marcus for your comment, the English lesson and the antique gold material.

It's fun and a good start. We all have to start somewhere, and if you're happy ZBrushing that's all that matters.
