    Default Raptor > Trex

    This T-Rex was created from the same Base mesh as the Raptor;

    These are great. I'm currently doing a raptor for school at Gnomon. I just started the base mesh but you've got me stoked to work on it. Great job!

    Red face

    You forgot the large slashing claw on the raptor's foot. Nice work otherwise though. Keep it up.

    Hi Guys! Sorry about the late reply Zanrock, I know you've been waiting for an explanation on how I render. I normally render with mental ray out of max but because there is no normal mapping in Z3 yet, I have been rendering out of Zbrush and have actually really liked it!

    TREX04.jpg

    As you can see it's a pretty staright forward workflow;
    Base mesh in Max
    High res mesh sculpted, polypainted & rendered out in passes all in Z3.
    Passes comped together and individually tweaked in PS!

    Surface for this has started out from Sokar's Skin Shader - if you've missed it just do a quick search on the forum for Sokar.

    Hope that this helps,
    Spline
