    Default Faith Flight

I did a version of this ages ago as an air brush painting on steel sheet with automotive paints. I always used Painter and Photoshop for digital painting but thought to try an all ZBrush painting. The plane is based on the "Spirit of St. Louis". The color picker makes changing colors a breeze.

The jpeg compression has killed the subtle clouds a bit......

i would focus more on the plane and not the background.

i would focus more on the backgroung as theplane is more than finished wonderfull painting but the handclouds could need some detail and blurryness both at perfect levels

Thanks DAnconia, I will try to focus more on the plane.

nice work! being from st. louis i really appreciate this one. i agree with the others that the background should be worked on more...overall this is really nice...it's just the fingers of the clouds really seem forced and would be more magical/convincing if they seemed more natural or accidental...not forcing you to see the fingers but they are there none-the-less.
