Since I 'm a fan of Shaun, the sheep, I thought its a funny task to mdel him and play with some poses. The result is this xmas-card.

here is another scene, i am currently working on:

    the first xmas-card looks fantastic

The sheep in the second card is a bit dark. But I think you know this allready :P

Do you use subtools for the scenes (sheep, background etc) or is it all dropped in the scene?

You are right, the 2nd image was just a testrender for the new pose. The scene consists of 3 layers - one for the snowhills (2 planes), one for the sheep+sledge (one tool, where head, arms, legs, tail, torso ans sledge are subtools) and one for the trees. The Snow is rendered as fog with a b/w image as fog-alpha.

Not baaaaad, froyd (oh geez, can I get any cornier?). I like it, and return the sentiment. I'm not familiar with this particular sheep...is he a mascot or something?

thx, Slosh! Shaun is a character created by Aardman Animations, who also made Wallace and Gromit, Creature Comforts, Chicken Run, Angry Kid and Rex the Runt =)
