    Hi, Nick,

Thanks again for all the great tutorials.

Do you have a series about Photoshop? I've watched the Toxic Avenger time-lapse a few times and you whip through a lot of interesting selection techniques and layer techniques I'd like to appreciate better.

    Just wonderin' ...

    Default Curve Tube Brush Question:

    Hi, Nick.

I've watched the CurveLineTube brush video a few times and I'm not getting the same behavior.

After drawing out the line and getting the new geometry you grab the end circle of the control curve and are able to move that end of the shape around and the shape doesn't distort but pivots from the other end, staying straight. When I do the same, and grab that end circle on the control curve, the shape bends at whatever the brush falloff is. Also, when hovering the cursor over the curve and I change brush size, the volume of the geometry always changes when all I want is a bigger brush to manipulate what's already there. I don't want to change the size of the geometry, just the size of the brush.

    What am I missing?

    Thanks!

    ~S.~

    Snark,

Thanks for the kind words. Sorry, but I don't have tons of videos for Photoshop.

I do have this video on Vimeo that shows solid color layers and how to get a more comic book look from ZBrush.

    https://vimeo.com/36577947

About the curve options. If you go into the stroke menu, open up curve section and turn off bend you can make the line result straight. In that same area you can use the lock start or lock end options to hold the end of your curve/brush that you want to be stationary. Hope that helps!

Wow Nick, that print looks top notch! The form1 has been my first choice for when I finally can afford a 3d printer. Your pics just reinforced my decision. Thanks for sharing.

Also want to take this opportunity to thank you for your amazing tutorials on using zbrush for concept art!

    Outstanding artwork!

I finally was able to try out keyshot with some of my ZBrush models.....I my gosh this is awesome!!!!! Such a beautiful look in no time....I really kinda blown away right now. I know I have seen other peoples amazing stuff with it...but until you use it....well now I get it!

I had to scale these down to fit on the web...The quality for size vs speed is just amazing!

Here is an older project rendered in Keyshot:

Here is a 3D print that we made on Friday. 100 Microns on a Forms + 1 machine. I painted it flat grey so you could see the details. You can see some of the build lines...but not too bad for this resolution.
