Smile The Outbreak - a VFS Modeling Reel by Kevin Steineman

Hello everyone, It's been a while since I've posted, I just wanted to say thanks to the community for all your help over these couple years, here's what I've learned (couldn't of done it without you guys ), and also that of VFS. I used Zbrush for all the wounds, and scales, as wells as texturing my skin shader maps for all the layers, except epidermal, I really enjoyed learning the advantages of polypainting, and Zapplink, removing texture seams was almost effortless, although the Skin Shader wasn't very cooperative so there are some "mishaps" per say, any way..

    Further intro below..

My name is Kevin Steineman and I'm a recent Vancouver Film School graduate(3D69) and this is my Modeling Reel. I did this over a period of 6 months. I'm currently looking for employment and I'm willing to relocate.

Feel free to contact me at 3d69kevin@vfs.com, KSteineman@gmail.com or 530-828-5773 for any inquiries. Thank you.

Critiques and Comments more than welcome

    congrats on finishing Kevin

personally I didn't much like the way you showed the wireframe on the mermaid model [it' was quick and hardly legible - also the cuts to closeup were annoying ]... Still a good job overall and all best of luck

DarkEdge - Thanks for the comment man

DELTATHUND3R - Thanks Delta, that's what I'm aiming for hehe.

Intervain - Thanks for the critique and the comment Intervain, your work has always been inspirational to me, and if you wouldn't mind for when I have a future reel, would you suggest just having a full turn around with the wires for part of it rather than my wipes? Or do you have something else in mind? Please let me know, thanks again
