Hi, cool model, this creatures it´s called terapusmordax and is from the king kong flick, in the movie this one appears when Jack Driscoll is aproaching to Anne darrow kidnapped by Kong (Anne sorrounded by kong´s arms).

The original creature was modelled in MUDBOX, i´have one hi res of the concept if you want it. I´m attaching the original MUDBOX weta article (OPEN IN INTERNET EXPLORER, trust me, not on the net anymore) and here is the weta model shot for this.
