I messed around more with the forearms and hands. I think I'm closer to what I want for the hands. Still way too much to do on the body - mainly the lower half and back... I think I'll start seeing what I can do about the base and then come back to the body for a little change of pace.

The sculpt looks great and those hands are a fabulous sculpt in their own right. You're really working it into excellence.

I hadn't been following this thread recently, but now that I'm checking it out again, I'm amazed how much work you've put into it - and, it really shows. Fantastic job!

This guy must go through staves like pretzel stix. Kinda' like a freight train with a lance in the front! Great sculpting!

Thanks for the nice comments everyone!

Skullbeast, I have just the solution for that! The plan was to give him a spear worthy of one touched by a God's power. But I still have to design the darn thing... But he will have a spear which looks like it could handle the punishment he would dish out with it.... That's the plan anyway. hehe. But progress has been slow going for the last week and I'll need to pick up the pace again if I want to get everything done that I wanted to get done in the next few weeks.

Here's what I have done on the base so far. It's just a start. I still need to add the stone steps and a bit of grassy texture in areas plus some other smaller rocks spread around. Then I'll repose his feet to fit.
