    Default Action Hero - SpeedFreek (female hero)

    Story

    When she is found by a covert U.S. government agency, Jennifer Gail, is alone, homeless and addicted to crystal meth. She is a petty criminal and drug addict, struggling to survive. Having no one to miss her makes her an ideal candidate for their covert experiments. Jennifer is taken and subjected to various experiments and enhancement drugs. The combination of these drugs and the drugs already in her system spark an unexpected reaction giving her incredible strength and speed. This reaction supercharges her system, freeing her from her addictions and rewiring her body into almost physical perfection. In exchange for exhonorating her of her past criminal activities, she agrees to use her new found abilities to help the government in it's covert mission at home and abroad. She is is given extensive military and weapons training and and answers to callsign:Speedfreek. The enemies of the government hear of her name, but they never see her coming.

    Abilities

    The reaction to the experimental drugs have given her super speed and strengthened her body to withstand the strain and pressure of running at such high speeds. She has been clocked in government tests at mach 2. Still untrusting, she hasn't expended her full speed under scientific testing. During her own tests she has run at least mach 3.5 and has experienced some time displacement effects, although she has not yet been able to control or produce these on command.



    Hey folks! here's my rough sketches for the character design. Still wondering weather or not to have her masked or unmasked. can't wait to get started and join the fun. Some great stuff going on already!

    I like that "...experimental drugs have given her super speed and strengthened.." Like hyper hero on steroid I personally like the version with the mask on, it gives her the look of more super-being. Looking forward to the ZBrush version

    Think she should have very confortable clothings.... so she can run so fast!

    hey thanks guys!

    SolidSnaxexxx- I think the mask make more sense given she supposed to be doing top secret stuff but i also need more excuses to model women's faces . Also i'm not sure i'm confident enough in my hard surface modelling skillls in zbrush to pull it off like you have with your mantis mask. Maybe i'll try it as a subtool attachment and i can blow it off if it doesn't work.

    Default base mesh

    Here's my base mesh. not familiar with zspheres so i chose to go with what i know, but i am going to attempt to use the topology features to generate the knee and elbow pads, which will be a first for me(wish me luck !) Also i'm gonna go with the mask as you can see. once it started looking like a female snakeyes, I was sold

    Default progress update

    here's my time spent starting to block in things. still a long way to go. The mask is proving easier that i thought. glad you guys piped up and made me give it a go. Thanks to JP_Smith who's doing the "Overwatch" character. He showed me how to add the knee pads super easily, rather that the way i was about to attempt it C&C welcomed!

    you have some nice clean lines on that mask... very good..

    I suggest working on the hair... thats all I see that needs work..
